Who are we?

Former United States Special Operations, Civil Affairs, Business, and Intelligence Community professionals founded Amalfi Group International (AGI). We capitalize on our extensive backgrounds and training in the specific areas of project management, community engagement, and the conduct of complex business assessments viewed through political, social, cultural, and commercial frames.

What is our B2E Approach?

AGI promotes a process that encourages community engagement by actively seeking the participation of stakeholders in targeted development programs. This process is conducted in concert with a sound strategic communications plan. This serves to link business operations, development plans, security views, and public relations goals into one predictable and controllable stream of information to the target population and media.

What differentiates AGI from other "Sustainable Development"-related consultants?

The majority of current SD projects initiated by global business are often mere decorations designed to minimize existing bad publicity. Conversely, AGI focuses on solving issues before they become problems by building positive "reputational capital" in the client's industry and operating environment. We provide long-term value by working closely with our clients to build engagement plans that are tailored to the clients' needs.

Is AGI a Private Military Company (PMC)?

No. While many of AGI's B2E techniques may enhance security, we are not a PMC. At AGI, we strive to solve problems utilizing techniques that would reduce the need for traditional PMCs worldwide. Individually, our reputations and approaches have allowed our practitioners to enter high-risk areas unarmed to perform our client work. This is accomplished through a solid understanding of the environment needed to mitigate hostile intent coupled with a good crisis management plan.
