The Business to Environment approach is an orchestration of enlightened sustainable development, results-oriented project management, media and community engagement, and a full business intelligence process. How B2E Works

To maximize the benefits and to mitigate potential negative effects of commercial operations, a plan that considers the entire commercial lifecycle should be implemented with the following ongoing applications:

  • Assessment: AGI will conduct an in-depth assessment of existing stakeholders, community needs and skills, and previous/ongoing development projects. The business insight that is garnered from this phase is often worth the initial investment by our clients.
  • Planning: A coordinated plan will be developed to address community needs. This will be done by working in conjunction with the local government, NGO/CBOs, as well as by incorporating input from the local community in project selection. Our approach provides the community with a feeling of ownership, helping to further success.
  • Project Management: AGI's focus is on coordinating all parties and resources required to implement chosen projects. AGI has earned relationships with a number of development nodes that may provide low- to no-cost technical assistance. In some cases, this has resulted in a "dollar-for-dollar" match with our commercial partners to maximize effects.
  • Onsite Monitoring and Evaluation: Most NGOs and commercial development "experts" are not willing to "get their boots dirty" and actually enter the areas of influence. Therefore, the clients' investment money is more likely to be lost or squandered. AGI teams have the expertise to fully report to our clients on progress and setbacks firsthand. AGI will ensure that those responsible for implementation are held accountable, and we will adjust and refocus efforts when desired results are not being met.
  • Strategic Communications Plan: This plan is designed to "get the word out" and is specifically tailored to increase the client's earned positive image. In areas of high commercial vs. community confrontation, this plan would seek to mitigate potential problems that could result in business risk.
  • Business Intelligence: Business Intelligence is the legal and ethical collection and analysis of data for commercial interests. On behalf of our clients, AGI can identify issues and answer requirements through close proximity with NGOs and government officials, watch groups, and media connections. Through these partnerships with stakeholders, united by common development goals in an information free-flow environment, clients will find most due diligence needs often fulfilled beyond expectations.
